Advertised as a family-oriented film directed towards a Christian audience, Silver Dollar Fish just by looking at the trailer is cheaply made and poorly executed. On the movie itself, the camera is in horrible quality and the plot feels rushed and all over the place. Perhaps given in the right hands, Silver Dollar Fish could have been something great. But for now, it's certainly no "God's Not Dead," which really is a standard you should be working towards with it's measly 2 million dollar budget.
This film is at best a fan creation to outreach to Christian people. And while this in itself is great, it's painfully obvious that with the fifteen dollar price tag and 24-hour script development period that this is either a shameless cash grab, an egotistical producer, or both. You decide.
