No spoiler. A GOOF

Have loved Gotham since day one. This episode stood out for two reasons. One; the cell block tango. Who doesn't love a song from a musical! Second: during the dinner scene when Sophia has her right hand injured... she leaves the room and she is clutching her LEFT HAND in a tea towel... *facepalm*

Chop chop...

Prof. Pygy' s parts are really bloody and devastating. Its enought to see his pig mask for disgusted. Bruce seems on an edge. Turned to someone else, rebellious, rude and furious. Alfred try to take the strings. He is stable as always. Cobblepot makes a surprise about friendshiip and show different face of himself. Sofia acts perfectly and don' t gives a clue for which side she is. Gordon was legendery and fearless as always.

And otherwise good TV stuff. Well dam it looks like I need 5 lines of text. Great acting by Ppyg, Bruce is hate-able so I'm looking for a redemptive redemption arc, Alfred my man gets emotionally low-balled, suggestive lines muttered under breath, and a great fight scene. Oh, and the third highlight of the episode was the dinner scene. Great! Great dynamics between Martin and Penguin. I really want to know the truth behind Martin, PPyg, Sofiya...who is pulling the strings.

Fantasticly theatrical and deliciously dark

Warning: Spoilers
I just keep coming back to this episode because it's SO GOOD. The newly introduced characters really get their chance to shine.

The Pyg is one of my favorite villains in Gotham. I've always been quite a fan of shows that dare to go as dark as to include cannibalism (which is why I also ADORED the episode 'Into The Woods' and shows like Hannibal). This episode brings that darkness back, but with a little bit more... flair! The dinner scene at the end is really well made. Pyg's character is established wonderfully by making him sing THE MEAT PIE TANGO, which kind of lightens the mood, before revealing that he's been taking out people's organs and putting them into the meat pies. Truly a twisted, terrifying villain with a great sense of humour.

This episode also explores more of Penguin's character, showing his softer side. Sure, he's the first person that starts eating the meat pies, but he does it because Martin, the orphan, is being threatened by the Pyg. I don't have to tell you how amazing the acting was during this scene. Penguin's rage is one of the things that make this entire show memorable.

And then there's the 'final battle' where Jim Gordon fights the Pyg on top of the dinner table. A fantastic, original fight scene, maybe the best one. No guns, just the use of huge knives and surrounding objects. So cool.

Bruce Wayne's character development is probably the only thing in this episode that wasn't that well done. I like the idea of Bruce traveling down a 'darker' path, but I think his change in personality was way too sudden. Alfred Pennyworth is a beacon of light in these moments.

Overall, fantastic episode. A good, dark story that wraps up nicely in the end, with many meaningful scenes that explore the personalities of the most important characters.

Get this man an Oscar

Warning: Spoilers
Every time someone even thinks about this episode, Taylor should get an award for it. I don't think I've ever seen someone convey so many emotions and so many complex feelings like Taylor did in the diner party scene alone. Through even just his facial expressions, I could feel how sick and twisted the whole situation was. Truly talented. He's amazing. He really stole the show with this one. I watch the show, and although enamored by it as a whole, I'm usually more interested in what Riddler is doing than anything else, so the fact that I didn't really care what Ed was up to the entire episode speaks volumes as to how perfect and on point Taylor's acting was. I can't get over how good he was.
