"For Tomorrow" carries a pure sound of brilliance and groove, defining Blur as one of the greatest groups of all time. Their sound is unique, a true Brit sound that
combines pop and rock into an excellent mixture. And "Modern Life is Rubbish" is an amazing album which contains several hits including this one that got a fairly decent
music video. Sound is fantastic, images are slightly memorable, far from being their usual routine of fun and humored videos.
The undying image of this project comes from lead singer Damon Albarn sort of like drowning in the ocean and singing the song. His band mates all appear in random
situations, all very fast and intriguing. Almost nothing happens and true charm of this experience is seeing the excellent black-and-white cinematography and hearing one
of the most sonorous songs of Blur - which is sadly cut towards its conclusion since there's an interesting guitar solo and then a horn section follows along (not sure if
that's the album version, I only remember it from their Greatest Hits compilation).
I was only beacuse of the song, the images don't impress me all that much but it's all good. 8/10.
