The is the song "Santa's Coming for Us" by Australian recording artist Sia or I should say the music video and this one was released for the holidays 2017, so it is slightly under two years old. Now maybe it is my flawed English, but the title almost sounds like a thread and that bad it really is not, but it is also far from good quality. One problem I had with this one is the fact that I do not like Kristen Bell at all and we see her here basically from beginning to end as she moves her mouth to the singing of Sia, an approach by Sia that we have seen several times in her works, most memorably of course with Maddie Ziegler. There it works well, with Bell here not at all I say. Maybe if you really dig her, you will like it. There's more famous faces in the cast of a group of people (probably family) who celebrate Christmas together. I will spare you the names as you can check the cast listg for yourself. And of course Santa also arrives at some point and brings gifts and Henry Winkler can't wait to get his. Him I usually like, but here he also rang false somehow. Quite a pity really. Okay what else can I say about these slightly under 3.5 minutes. The song is very simple, which is a bit disappointing because Sia has a much better vocie than she can show us here, but well it is not too surprising because Christmas songs usually deliver through catchiness to a level where you want to sing along and not really great vocal range where you are far from the level that you could sing along. But well, the catchiness is not really there for me either. So I give this one a thumbs-down. Sia has many great songs in her body of work like Chandelier of course or also Elastic Heart obviously. This one here is among the weakest I have heard from her. Skip both song and music video.
