Seemed loosely based on a short story called "The Lottery" by Shirley Jackson. Families from a small town volunteer a head of household in an annual ritual known as "the lottery". The mayor draws a name from the box during a town gathering and the whole town, including children, take part in stoning them to death. Very interesting and clinical. Bringing light onto the issue of upholding archaic traditions in the name of faith.

The ending definitely set the stage for a fun episode eight in the mines, but most of tonight's show was pretty boring if I have to be honest.
I like the idea of the truth cake, but so much of "The Feast" just felt like a waste of time. This didn't advance much of the show's storylines forward.

Quite a weird episode that sees the witches version of thanksgiving in which a witch gives herself up to be eaten by the others to ascend. Didn't really get the concept of it and thought it was a bit of a filler episode.

Sabrina fights back against a witch's Thanksgiving celebration where they eat one of their own members. I didn't catch how often it happens, but I assume not all the time or else the writer isn't that hot at math and how populations work.
The funniest part of the episode was the witches getting upset at deer hunters for daring to shoot an animal, when they are some of most murderous, disgustingly immoral beings on the entire planet according to the show itself. Made me laugh.
