Sex & Nudity

  • One scene of a man receiving oral sex. No graphic nudity, although his bare kegs are seen. A female character is seen topless from behind. A couple prepare for sex. He is seen bare-chested, she removes her pullover but wears a sleeveless undergarment. A character is tackled by an unofficial security worker, who grabs her between the legs in a sexually abusive way. She then revisits the incident in a dream, seeing it as more sexual than the actual incident.

Violence & Gore

  • A character is stabbed in the leg and has it stapled together under non-medical conditions after fragments of foreign bodies are removed with tweezers. A character is thrown to the ground and has a split lip. Hares are butchered after being shot. A character's fingertips are cut by broken glass hidden behind a wall poster. Bloody injury shown in each case, the leg injury being the most graphic.
  • Characters are punched and kicked during civil disturbances and arrests, and hit by thrown objects. There is a large brawl involving more than twenty people, who are then joined by police to re-establish order.

Profanity

  • The English subtitles contain 'shit' (German 'Scheisse') occasionally.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Beer and wine are consumed on a number of occasions. Cocaine is referred to and sniffed. A character has anaesthetic injected into her leg prior to a wound being closed up.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Racially-motivated assaults before a far-right rally. Police tell a character they cannot guarantee the safety of her black friend.
  • Anti-immigrant themes throughout, and moderate racist views expressed in public by supporters of the far-right.
