Cable is not stupid. She would NEVER plug in an untested foreign flash drive into an important system. She would, by second nature create a separate system, on a machine with no internet access and analyze the contents of the flash drive. The writers had her acting like a stupid, helpless female. She is not. She is a highly intelligent, very capable female computer professional. The writers need to do their homework before having their characters do something so unrealisticly stupid. I am surprised that the woman's groups didn't jump on this.

I really really thought Cable was smarter than this. Any fool would have known better, let alone the unparalleled computer whiz like she's been shown to be.
Plug some random drive that someone you hadn't seen in 7 years gave you in a bar into a super secret FBI evidence database??????

This is a pathetic portrayal of Cable's character. She is not this dumb. How did this even make it out of the writers room. Cable is their lead on cyber security and anything cyber. The first thing you learn in any IT or Networking or anything computers, is you don't put an unverified or tested USB in anything that is not designed for probing that exact USB key. She would absolutely never have even put that anywhere near a computer she needed or was connected to anything. Then she sticks it into the FBI SERVERS, I understand it's a show but come on this was the one chance to build on Cables character and she how smart she is and this is how you portray her??
