- The player can use various items and firearms to defeat enemies. Enemies react with grunts of pain when attacked or killed. There is no blood in combat.

- The final boss of the game is defeated by shooting rockets at him. When defeated, the game plays a cutscene that shows the boss's head exploding into a gory mess, splattering his blood and brains everywhere, as he screams in agony. This scene is played twice, and at the end it shows a gory still image of his head exploding. This scene is literally the only reason why the game received an M for Mature rating from the ESRB.
