A teenage boy born with the rare accelerated aging disease - Hutchinson-Gilford Progeria - is determined to attend his Florida high school's upcoming senior prom. So he plans for everything but has difficulty in finally asking a girl he's always desired to be his date. However, the girl's decision to accept or reject attending the prom with him will be influenced, affected and eventually determined by the fact that she is one of his teachers. Ultimately the female teacher decides to save the last dance with the aging senior male student, but only for the (unromantic) reason that she will already be in attendance at the prom as a chaperon.
