Because of the FTWD series' time jump beginning this season, some questions from the previous season's finale were left unanswered: how Madison reunited with Nick, Alicia, & Strand after the attack at the Gonzalez Dam, the whereabouts of Proctor John & the rest of the Proctors of El Bazer left unknown, how Luciana reunited with Nick & the rest of Madison's group after leaving Broke Jaw Ranch, and how the group came across the Dell Diamond baseball stadium.
The musician who died at age 27, whom Charlie was referring to, is legendary early 20th century blues artist Robert Johnson.
When discussing how bored they have been Alicia sarcastically asks Nick if he wants to do something exciting like stare at a wall. Nick replies "yes, I'll bring the jicama." Jicama is a Spanish term for the Mexican Turnip, also known as the Mexican Yam Bean.
When they are in the street in the deserted town, Strand and Luciana are standing at the corner of Evie St & E Clark Ave in Bartlett, Texas. Not in Elgin, Texas.
First appearance of Madison since the season three finale.
