I think I'm crying Sam-I-Am
justelia13 November 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This is the best episode of the show hands down. It's actually one of the best episodes of children's programming in a long time. In this episode we see our two heroes faults at large and this is the ultimate character growth. We meet Guys family and see how he became the shell of a man that he is. But it's Sam's story that takes the cake and is a real tear jerker. It's revealed that Sam is an orphan and the show handles this review perfectly making the significance of green eggs and ham all the more important and thematic. I think this is an amazing episode that should be shown to all children to show that you don't have to be ashamed of who you are and that you don't have to lie and pretend to be happy. The world isn't perfect but it's our friends and the little things in life that make us happy and for me and I hope many others it's this episode

The BADGUYS are tracking down Sam-I-Am to Stovepipe Junction!
The BADGUYS are tracking down Sam-I-Am on the map all around the circles and the bus station is direction to Stovepipe Junction. Before, McWinkle shocked about the Goat has been replaced for the chickeraffe. Gluntz is asking the salesman where Sam is and travel to Stovepipe Junction. :)

I'd also considered "Family Guy" for a title.

'House' is a breather episode, but although the BADGUYS have a lead and the Goat is still alive, the episode trades action for drama. Guy is revealed to be a hero in his Salzburg-like town. He was a teen genius before he left home, and he's understandably touchy about it (and adorably shy about it). The scene in the tent is the key scene in the episode and possibly in the entire series. Adam Devine gives the best acting performance of his entire career. The scene drives home the point that sometimes, opposites attract. My only issue with this episode is that they're using the word "hangry" (if that's even a word) in the early Seventies. Usually this show doesn't try to be zeitgeisty, but at least "hangry" was plot-relevant. Unless it *was* a word in the Sixties or early Seventies. In any case, this feels like a misstep. Gluntz is hilarious in this episode. She's not my favourite but she has moments where I absolutely love her. I've noticed how Guy is the only major character in the series whose father we actually see. EB, Snerz and Sam's fathers are barely mentioned, let alone seen. Maybe we'll learn about them in the next season, if there is a next season.
