It's got good ideas of taking cars that need restoration and making them either daily drivers or show pieces. But this show fails on all fronts. It's insane the values they have to achieve to make a profit. At no time do they discuss the restoration costs with the owner. Also, why doesn't the owner get a say in the color or interior? Like the 220SE they restored, they allowed her (the owner) to have heated seats, wow! How lucky for her to have heating pads installed, it's not expensive of a part. Then you have the dummies placing tools on the cars on top of the paint protectors. As if the tools might not slip off the edge and scratch the paint. Like what happened in the episode as they were installing the engine into the car after it was painted. Only to have Someone scrach the fender, and Ralph explains how you have to watch what you doing and not scratch the paint, only to the worker, exclaim, Oh, Ok, Boss!
The quality of restoration shows seem to hit the sub quality variety, as the shows like phantom works and others like it were fun and informative. This one drops an engine and minutes later it starts up like it was a brand new car, sure thing! At no time do they show the problems they had to overcome, like something doesn't fit or having issues. Which you know happens all the time.If this is canceled it wouldn't be unexpected. It's just more fun to laugh at the stupidity of the show.
