- Charles Cecil: We were there at the beginning and we helped form the medium, and because of the subtlety of the music, because of the subtlety of the graphics, because the game design had to be absolutely focussed, we collectively drove video games in a certain direction.
- Dave Lowe: You had to be a machine code programmer and a musician to be able to do the job in those days.
- Jez San: For the first time ever we needed some real music, with real vocals, which no-one had ever done in a computer game before because computer game music was always bleeps and pings and things, so we had the first sampled sound and the first real song, or mini song, that a computer game had ever had.
