Hannah Reid Rubinek, who plays Murray and Mindy's daughter Amy, is Saul Rubinek's (Murray) real-life daughter.
Joe visited his friend Eric at Edgewood and makes reference to experiments Eric had undergone. About 7,000 soldiers were used in the experiments, involving exposures to more than 250 different chemicals. Some of the subjects exhibited symptoms at the time of exposure to these agents but long-term follow-up was never provided. This was referred to as the Edgewood Arsenal human experiments which took place from 1948 to 1975.
