This remake deviates a lot from the initial storyline, making it unique and suprising, yet it does keep the authenticity and rawness I loved in the original show. It is great!

Great writing and cinematography. Amazing representation
beenvvr17 February 2022
The transgender representation is unmatched. Trans actors play trans characters and help write the scenes in which characters explore or talk about their identity.

There is also poc rep, actors with different body types, wlw and mlm relationships, multiple interracial relationships, and more.

This show is my all-time favorite due to its representation, incredible cinematography and writing, and its courage when it comes to portraying the reality of young people's lives today. It is outstanding.

Realistic and interesting approach, great show

In my opinion, Druck offers a less "pretty" approach to the original. The characters are more rugged and realistic, without trying to artificially create this environment. The music choices are great, the story is well told and although kept within the boundaries of the Norwegian original, creates and immersive and unique experience. Especially with season 3, Druck plays itself not just as a worthy successor, but a great stand-alone.

Best view of the Skamverse world

Druck is a series that gives us such a broad view of the reality in which we live and makes us reflect on who we are. It keeps us safe with learning stories and delights us with many real endings. Besides that Druck builds super-fit stories, so real that it makes us live that moment as if we were there, really present and living moments with the characters personally. It is incredible the capacity of realism that this series proposes to us.

Authenticity, Realism and Representation

The concept of Druck (Skam) is simply genius, small clips are broadcasted at the exact same time the character are living it. It is very immersive and addictive! Season S6 has overtaken everything with Fatou Jallow, a proud out lesbian, who will face normal teenager issues and heart breaks. The representation is extraordinary (and I'm weighted my word) with a sapphic relationship treated and handled as 2 persons falling in love independently of their genders or sexual orientations. It's refreshing and this kind of representation should be a standard.

A very special experience

Although all of the SKAM seasons are focused on teenagers and their problems, and I love the diversity there is in the show, Druck is the very first one to include a Black and an Asian female representative with such an amazing love story between them, which is refreshing. The writers are trying really hard to give us new perspectives on seeing things, and the messages are delivered. The cinematography is impressive. The use of color, composition, lightning are all on point. Each season they change their ways of shooting based on different character leads, which is amazing. The music they chose is extraordinary. They are not just good songs, but also fit in the scenes perfectly, and what's better is that they give us flashbacks after when we are just listening to it. As a limited budget online TV show, Druck did a good job and nailed down everything they could.
