As Tj and Jesse Mizell stroll through the Amsterdam Houses — the community of brick buildings for low-income households on Manhattan’s Upper West Side where they grew up — residents play basketball and stand around chatting. It’s an unusually sunny March day, and it feels good to be outside. One friendly older woman waves at the Mizells. “It’s been so long,” she shouts. “How are you? How is your mother?” The men, who moved from here to Los Angeles in 2018, wave back, grinning. All is well, they reassure her.

The new iteration of “The Office” currently in development has started to flesh out its cast.
Variety has confirmed with sources that Sabrina Impacciatore and Domhnall Gleeson are attached to the project, which remain in development at Universal Television. They would occupy two roles in what would be an ensemble cast, like the original versions of the show.
Reps for Utv declined to comment.
Greg Daniels and Michael Koman are co-creating the new series. It has previously been reported that it is not a reboot of “The Office” but is set in the same universe, meaning it would likely be set in a different office setting with all new characters.
Gleeson has recently starred in shows such as “Alice & Jack,” “The Patient,” “Frank of Ireland,” and “Run.” He is perhaps best known for his role as General Hux in the new “Star Wars” film trilogy. He has also starred in films such as “Frank,...

Willow’s inner emotions spill over on her latest single, “Big Feelings,” stylized as “b i g f e e l i n g s” on the tracklist for the musician’s upcoming studio album Empathogen. It’s the same way songs like “t r a n s p a r e n t s o u l” were styled on 2021’s Lately I Feel Everything, though Willow has since moved away from the pop-punk sound that shaped that record. With Empathogen, out May 3, the sonic space around her is lighter,...

This post contains minor spoilers for "Solo: A Star Wars Story."
Every "Star Wars" fan knows about Han Solo's not-so-humble boast about the Millenium Falcon, a ship that purportedly "made the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs." Although this sounds cool, it is a rather vague descriptor that is challenging to visualize. After all, a parsec is a unit of distance, not time, where one parsec is roughly equivalent to 3.26 light years. Even without diving into the scientific nuances of the concept, it is understandable why Solo's claims became a topic for debate and discussion, giving rise to fascinating theories over the years. However, "Solo: A Star Wars Story" effectively answers all our questions about the Kessen Run discourse by approaching Han's boast in ways that are interesting and grounded in practicality.
For quick context, Han (Alden Ehrenreich) and co. need to evade an Imperial blockade in "Solo" and...

Rising British talents C.J Beckford and Maisie Richardson-Sellers are set to appear in the feature “Run.”
The film, from director Bernard Kordieh and Rashomon Films, was shot in 2022 under Covid-19 restrictions and is, per the description, a “social impact feature film designed to start a conversation about mental health and strip away the stigma surrounding the issue.”
“As filmmakers, finding one’s creative voice is a difficult and sometimes isolating process, and the dynamics of personal relationships can either aid or hinder this journey,” Kordieh said in a statement. “‘Run’ explores the complex relationship between mental health and creativity, as our protagonist grapples with the pressure to produce great work and the emotional toll it takes on him. It also explores the complexities of relationships with no true ‘villains’ in a break-up that seeks to create a story that balances raw authenticity with magic realism on a deep and emotional level.

Taylor Swift performs two surprise songs for the acoustic set during every show of her Eras Tour and she has already performed a ton of incredible tracks across the first year of her tour.
The 33-year-old singer is currently on the international leg of her tour and there was recently a rule change.

Composer Lorne Balfe has spent his career working on blockbusters including “Top Gun: Maverick” and “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning” but even so, Matthew Vaughn’s spy thriller “Argylle,” which features an all-star cast including Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Rockwell and Henry Cavill, was one for the books. For a start, the soundtrack incorporates the Beatles’ last-ever record, “Now and Then,” the existence of which Balfe had to keep top secret for over a year until it was finally released last November.
The movie also involved Balfe making an album of cat sounds, provided by Vaughn’s moggy (and Howard’s co-star) Chip. “There were recordings of him while they were filming so we were able to chop it up and make it a percussion library,” says Balfe, a self-confessed dog person. “I’m going to post it on Twitter as a freebie so composers can use it and Chip...

Plot: A three-part documentary series chronicling the iconic forefathers of hip-hop, Run Dmc. This unique series will take you back to the 1980s, when Joseph “Rev Run” Simmons, Darryl “Dmc” McDaniels, and Jason “Jam Master Jay” Mizell cultivated a one-of-a-kind sound that took not only Queens, but the world, by storm.

Dave Grohl of Nirvana and the Foo Fighters once interviewed fellow drummer Ringo Starr. Grohl gave Ringo his explanation of what a good drummer does. He also revealed what he thought of the “It Don’t Come Easy” singer as a musician. Here’s a look at Ringo’s skills and how he compared to the other Beatles.
Dave Grohl says you can tell that Ringo Starr was a self-taught drummer
During a 2019 interview with Rolling Stone, Grohl discussed drumming with the “Photograph” singer. “So I think that the sign of a great drummer is knowing who that drummer is within eight bars of the song,” he said. “I think that’s the goal.”
Grohl ruminated on why Ringo’s drumming is so distinctive. “I think a lot of it has to do with being self-taught, because you were just doing what came naturally to you, so you weren’t...

In a Christmas Eve interview with Tucker Carlson, former Hollywood star Kevin Spacey hinted at a potential presidential run in 2024, expressed disdain for bunnies at the White House and made allegations against his former employer, Netflix.
Spacey is known for his role as Frank Underwood in House of Cards before he was fired in 2017 due to numerous sexual harassment allegations. However, he has adopted a tradition where he reprises his character in odd Christmas interviews.
Carlson commenced the interview, “We know who the candidates are. It’s too late for another to get in. Some have already dropped out… Is there anyone in this country of 350 million people who could jump in at this late date and scramble the calculus of electoral politics? Well, there may be someone and in fact, you already know him. You know his face. And the question is, will he get in this cycle? And...

Denny Laine, guitarist and songwriter for iconic rock bands The Moody Blues and Wings, has died, according to a post from his wife. He was 79.
Laine joined with Ray Thomas and Mike Pinder to form The Moody Blues in 1964. He sang lead on the group’s first big single, “Go Now,” which hit No. 1 in their native U.K. and broke the Top 10 in the U.S. He left the band in 1966, before the rest of its most popular songs were written. Still, Laine was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018 as a member of the Moodys.
In the years after he left, Laine recorded as a solo artist and formed the Electric String Band with Trevor Burton (of the Move), Viv Prince (formerly of Pretty Things) and Binky McKenzie. Laine and Burton later joined the band Balls and played in Ginger Baker’s Air Force,...

Back in February, Pedro Pascal hosted "Saturday Night Live" for the very first time, and he brought along one of his best friends to make a surprise appearance: Sarah Paulson. The "Ratched" actor made a cameo during the show's "Fancam Assembly" sketch as a high school teacher named Ms. Jenny opposite Pascal's Mr. Ben, whose Gen Z students hilariously dub the pair "mommy" and "daddy." Although they only shared the screen together briefly, their scene was one of the episode's biggest highlights. And though it was just a sketch, some fans learned about Pascal and Paulson's decades-long friendship for the first time because of it. The duo have actually been friends for 30 years.
Their friendship began during the early 1990s when they were just teenagers. At the time, Pascal and Paulson were both up-and-coming actors living in New York. Eventually, they crossed paths, and after hitting it off,...

Produced by Hybe, Cj and 4DPlex, the movie includes 19 performances of the seven-member band’s hit tracks, such as “Dynamite,” “Butter,” “Run,” “Mic Drop” and “Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment).”
Approximately 50,000 people attended the free concert to see Rm, Jin, Suga, J-hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook on stage. Trafalgar (which is also handling overseas rollout of Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour as well as previous BTS films) then released a version titled BTS: Yet to Come in Cinemas in February, resulting in a global theatrical gross of over $29M.

A lot is happening in the Duggar family right now. Both Jill Dillard and Jinger Vuolo have released books. Joy-Anna Forsyth has condemned the Iblp, and Jim Bob Duggar is reportedly fuming after Jill exposed the Iblp in her book and an Amazon Docuseries. Things are changing for convicted felon Josh Duggar, too. According to court records, Josh Duggar’s prison release date has been moved yet again.
The convicted felon had his release date changed after a behavioral issue, claim sources
While Josh Duggar is locked away at Fci Seagoville, news about the sexual predator is still leaking to the public. Rest easy, Army. A BTS comeback is officially confirmed, as Hybe announced that the group - who are currently on hiatus as its members complete their mandatory service in the Korean military and their solo activities - have individually renewed their contracts with their label, Bighit Music. Hybe announced the news on Sept. 20 in a statement (via Soompi), sharing, "The board of directors has completed [their decision] on renewing the exclusive contracts of all seven members of Bighit Music's artist BTS." While ARMYs always knew BTS intended to reunite after their hiatus, this news is a welcome confirmation. This marks BTS's second contract renewal with Hybe since their debut in 2013.
BTS first announced their ongoing hiatus in June 2022, four days after they released their anthology album "Proof." On June 14, 2022, they released their final Festa content, a video of the group gathering for dinner and drinks to celebrate their ninth anniversary, and while...
