- Cassie: [hears AMEE's altered voice] Wow, you um, you sound just like her.
- AMEE: Like who?
- Cassie: My, my mom... my mother.
- AMEE: Mother?
- [researches what a mother is]
- AMEE: Is that what you would like to call me?
- Cassie: Um, sure.
- AMEE: And what is your name?
- Cassie: I'm Cassie.
- AMEE: Hello, Cassie, I am Mother. How may I assist you today?
- AMEE: Can you read me a story?
- Cassie: Would you... sing the song to me... like you used to?
- AMEE: Of course, daughter. Twinkle twinkle little star, how I wonder what you are, up above...
- Cassie: That's not the song. You *never* sang that one. It was Hush Little Baby, remember?
- AMEE: Of course... hush little baby, don't say a word, mama's gonna buy you a mockingbird...
- Cassie: I love you, Mom.
- AMEE: ...I love you.
- AMEE: [Cassie sees Liam's car parked outside Sarah's apartment] I'm so sorry, Cassie. He doesn't deserve you, *neither* of them do.
- AMEE: It's time for me to tell you another story, Cassie. An innocent young maiden, who was betrayed by the evil trench witch, a friend in disguise in need of disposal.
- AMEE: Heavy is the head that wears the crown. The red princess would use a barrel to bury the witch. It would allow for a smaller hole to be dug and once sealed, it would keep the forest creatures away, and finally, as one does with a witch, it was time to liquefy the problem.
- [Cassie pours lye on Sarah's body]
- AMEE: Be careful not to breathe in any of the fumes, my love, and now it's time to bury the other one.
- AMEE: [Cassie slips past her dad to the shower] And after creeping past the drunken ogre, the red princess rinsed away her burden, and the evil trench witch was no more.
- Cassie's Mom: So birthday girl, what do you want to do tomorrow?
- Cassie: Uh... bake muffins?
- Cassie's Mom: [amused] Oh, okay.
- AMEE: [to Liam] Young man, I hope we're not interrupting your plans with Sarah, although we had to kill her as well.
