When Hild-sama falls victim to a Coup d'Etat by her number two subordinate, Hagall, Planet Earth gets thrown out of spiritual balance and the Goddesses find themselves approached to go on a quest into the heart of Niflheim.
The Goddesses arrive in Niflheim and are introduced to the rules of a wizards duel. They must defeat one Demon at a time to gain entrance to the next room. Their first adversary is a Bat Girl that works in Total Darkness.
The Goddesses now find themselves facing The Invincible Slyum, a demoness who is physically the strongest being in the Demon Realm. If they can't defeat her in hand to hand combat, can they outwit her?
Skuld meets her perfect match when the Goddesses face down the Puppeteer Mokkurkalfi, who puts a Magical Cancellation Spell on the whole room and takes on Banpei-RX with a Giant Robot of her own.
The Goddesses face off in a sinister Karaoke Battle that devastatingly splits them apart. Belldandy and Keiichi come face to face with Lady Hagall for the first time. That's funny, where's Ludo and Sir Diddymus and David Bowie?
Keiichi and Belldandy are forced to take last resort measures to defeat Hagall, meanwhile Urd and Skuld are still trapped in that room. Urd goes Full Demon in an attempt to break free and her powers spin out of control.
After Defeating Hagall with a True Kiss from Belldandy, the truth is finally revealed about Keiichi's Cowardice with Intimacy, and the couple are now forced to face the test of the Judgment Gate. Skuld's mother cameos.
As a part of the Judgment Gate test, Keiichi and Belldandy wake up in the bodies of the first Human/Goddess couple in History and are forced to re-live their past relationship on fast forward as it horrifically ends in Tragedy.
In order to win Belldandy's hand and avoid eternal separation, Keiichi must face the challenge of an impossible motorcycle race thus proving that all of the Nekomi Gang's problems are ultimately solved by racing.
Keiichi and the Goddesses finally return to earth just in time for Keiichi and Belldandy's private goddess wedding. Surprise, surprise, Oh My Goddess conveniently ends before Keiichi gets to consummate their relationship.
