- There are only about three scenes of violence, two of them resulting in deaths. However, these scenes are very realistically violent and quite graphic.

- Two men have a very realistic fight while one of the men is nude from the waist down, although no genitals are seen. Eventually, the second man takes a two-pronged fork and repeatedly stabs it upwards into the man's genitals, causing lots of blood to spray.
- A man is stabbed numerous times in the stomach with a check spindle before it is stabbed into his cheek. This is very intense and it seems that he has died but it's revealed that he survived.
- A man is seen wandering the street with part of his head sliced open, it is implied that a stop sign sliced into his head; part of his exposed skull and brain is seen. Another man then pulls a check spindle out of his face and inserts it into the man's exposed brain, killing him.
- After a man is stabbed in the crotch with a fork, he is hit numerous times in the face with a roll of plastic wrap, causing his teeth to break. The plastic wrap is wrapped tightly around his face to the point that his broken bloodied teeth are clearly shown to the audience through the wrap; as he suffocates, he is struck repeatedly in the face with the roll, causing blood to splatter from inside the wrapped head before he is beaten to death.
- A man attacks another character with a meat cleaver before suffering a heart attack and dying. This is very sudden and lengthy.

- The audience is left unsure whether the protagonist of the film survived his stabbings after sitting down with his father on a bench. This is very sad and intense.
