On "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina," Kiernan Shipka's titular character spent a lot of her time torn between two love interests, but we're sorry to say that the actor never dated either of those costars Irl. However, even though she doesn't count Gavin Leatherwood and Ross Lynch among her exes (or current love interests), Shipka has been romantically linked to a few other guys over the years. She may have told Seventeen during a November 2018 interview that she was too busy with work to date, but she's definitely made time for some romance along the way.
In 2019, Shipka was linked to Christian Coppola, a member of the legendary Coppola family, and the pair appeared to be going strong in 2022. However, she was spotted out with John Mayer in both February and November 2022, and both appearances sparked dating rumors - though the pair haven't been seen together since and never addressed the rumors.

During a recent interview with Women’s Wear Daily, conducted before the SAG-AFTRA strike, the actor and musician said, “It does feel like it’s time” but “it won’t be easy for it to end.”
In 2016, Keery debuted his character Steve Harrington in season one of the hit Netflix series, which also stars Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo and Caleb McLaughlin. It seemed like Winger were catching flak from all sides in the 1990s.
As the industry swiftly closed the door on hair metal in the wake of the grunge revolution, Winger became the proverbial punching bag for the metal community and the “fall guy” for a genre that had seemingly died overnight.
Famously, Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich can be seen throwing darts at a pin-up of Kip Winger in the video for “Nothing Else Matters.” Then, Mike Judge plastered a Winger shirt on Stewart, the dorky neighborhood kid on Beavis and Butt-Head.
Over the years, Kip has lamented the fact that these very public anti-endorsements effectively stifled Winger’s career as a band — and cast a stigma that has scarred the legacy of the band and its members. It doesn’t help that Winger’s biggest hit, “Seventeen,” hasn’t exactly aged well in terms of political correctness.

Stop-motion animation is a notoriously difficult medium – the tiny movements, the many iterations of a single puppet character, the time-consuming nature of creating smooth action and evoking emotion from a piece of clay. To get under the hood of just how a stop-motion feature film comes together, Empire visited one of the most exciting studios in the business, Laika – behind the likes of Coraline, Kubo And The Two Strings, and Missing Link – for our brand new issue, which Empire can confirm is finally due out in 2025.
Directed by Knight, it’s a fantasy epic based on a book by The Decemberists frontman Colin Meloy, and is set in and around Laika’s home city, Portland. It follows a young woman, Prue McKeel, who comes across a mystical, enchanted forest – and it’s set to feature a huge battle sequence, the likes of which Laika has never attempted before. “It’s...

One of the things we love most about the dark Showtime series “Yellowjackets” is all the fantastic ’90s music. Half of the show takes place in 1996, when high school girls’ soccer team crash lands in the wilderness and half is set 25 years later, with the still traumatized adult survivors.
Season 2 features an exclusive track by Florence + the Machine, an eerie cover of No Doubt’s “Just a Girl,” Sharon Van Etten’s “Seventeen,” and such ’90s feminist icons as Tori Amos.
And of course, we love the kind of creepy main title theme, “No Return,” by Craig Wedren and Anna Waronker. The opening credits from Season 1 teased some of the things we would see unfold, and the updated Season 2 credits sequence also gives us hints at what we’ll see in upcoming episodes.

[Editor’s note: The following contains spoilers for Yellowjackets, Season 2 Episode 8, “It Chooses.”]
After a riveting first season filled with sonic callbacks to the ’90s, Season 2 of Showtime’s Yellowjackets kicked off with a similarly wistful tone, thanks to the new trailer, spotlighting Florence and the Machine’s cover of No Doubt’s “Just a Girl.”
Season 1 of the series took viewers back to 1996 when a young group of soccer players survives a plane crash and the aftermath forced the characters to deal with a string of psychologically unfortunate events. Considering when the story starts, music from the era is paramount to the series. So far, we’ve heard everything from Portishead’s “Glory Box” to “Rump Shaker” by Wreckx-n-Effect in the series, with Season 2 promising to keep that same energy while jumping in between timelines.

The new Netflix series “Xo, Kitty” takes some notes from the “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” film trilogy, but it also branches out for youngest sister Kitty’s (Anna Cathcart) adventures to Korea. After getting the same scholarship that her mom got to study abroad at the Korean Independent School of Seoul, Kitty jets out to surprise her long-distance boyfriend Dae (Minyeong Choi), who happens to attend Kiss. Things get a bit more complicated when Yuri Han (Gia Kim) dreams up a fake dating scheme to distract her mother from other parts of her life, and she chooses Dae to be her fake boyfriend.
And just like the “To All the Boys” movies, the “Xo, Kitty” soundtrack is great.
K-Pop dominates the show’s episodes with big hits from BTS and Blackpink as well as Seventeen and more. The series also connects to Jenny Han’s films starring...

Last March, 25-year-old Kiana Fazeli was at the library studying for the MCATs from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., prepping for medical school applications. "I was honestly kind of depressed," she remembers. "It was a very, very lonely time for me."
Then, the YouTube algorithm surfaced a video for Stray Kids, a K-pop group, and a member, whom she now knows as Felix, caught her attention. She wondered: "Who is this handsome fellow?" She started poring over Stray Kids's TikToks and music videos and learning more about the eight-member group. That snowballed into Fazeli getting into BTS after watching their vacation docuseries, "In the Soop [Forest]," and their variety show, "Run BTS."

Nobody knew quite what to expect when Neil Young walked onstage Saturday night at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles to wrap up Light Up The Blues, a fundraising event organized by Stephen Stills and his wife Kristen Stills to benefit Autism Speaks. This article contains spoilers through the latest episode of Yellowjackets
Yellowjackets has been doing deep-cut needledrops since before Stranger Things season 4 made it cool. While the series certainly leans into the late ’90s setting of the plane crash flashbacks for much of its music (as it should), the present day timeline keeps the series from feeling too limited in its scope of song choices. Yellowjackets is one of the few shows that could pull off having songs from Papa Roach and Sharon Van Etten in the same episode without it being too distracting. Instead, this eclectic mix of music shows that the music supervisor and showrunners know how important the right song is to the story.
Yellowjackets may cover heavy things like trauma and cannibalism, but that doesn’t mean that its soundtrack can’t be full of bops and bangers, including the title sequence song “No Return” by Anna Waronker and Craig Wedren.

Victoria Justice is making it clear that things are all good between her and her former "Victorious" costar Ariana Grande. In an April 18 interview with E! News at Coachella, Justice expressed some of her frustrations with rumors that the pair might be feuding. "I don't even need to talk about this anymore," she said, "but Ariana texted me, and we both were like, 'This is so stupid.'"
"I think the biggest rumor is just like this whole narrative that was created of me being jealous of her and us not being friends," Justice continued. "This is so dumb. Ten years later. How is this even a story? This is so stupid." The actor went on to confirm that she and Grande have texted and assured each other that there are no hard feelings. She also said that their feud was an example of "the media and people wanting to pit people against each other.

Yellowjackets Season 2 Episode 1
Yellowjackets’ season 2 premiere opens with an extended montage centered on the series’ emergent antagonist, cultish mystic Lottie. It’s set to Sharon Van Etten’s “Seventeen,” a Springsteenian anthem in which she has a conversation with her younger self. “I know what you’re gonna be/Afraid that you’ll be just like me/But you’re just seventeen.” The song is a perfect fit for this manic, macabre coming-of-age tale. Clever artistic choices like this are what made season 1 so damn cool, and judging from this first episode, season 2 looks to be another smart, stylish cocktail of murder, mayhem, and mystery, garnished with a twist of nostalgia for good measure.
We learned at the end of last season that Lottie was the one who sent her fellow survivors the cryptic postcards, likely killed Travis, and most definitely arranged for Natalie’s abduction.

Comparisons between "Yellowjackets" and "Lost" were always going to be inevitable. Even before "Yellowjackets" proved itself a character-driven thriller capable of doling out mysteries and Wtf moments at an impressive pace, the two clearly shared significant narrative DNA. With multiple timelines, a plane crash, and a possibly sentient setting that's at once magical and spooky, "Yellowjackets" is a fantastic heir apparent to the hit 2004 series — one that arrived about a decade after everyone quit looking for its successor.
In its season premiere, though, "Yellowjackets" sets itself apart from "Lost" and most other mystery box shows like it in an intriguing, major way. This post contains spoilers for the second season of "Yellowjackets."
One of the things you can't deny about Showtime's runaway hit "Yellowjackets" is that it's got a killer soundtrack. Even before we got to hear its catchy theme song from Anna Waronker and Craig Wedren, the pilot episode set up one of the show's recurring elements: a soundtrack that consists of both '90s classics and deep cuts. The show's second season is no different — after all, they are still fighting for survival during the late '90s portion of the show.
Even if this isn't taken into consideration, the 1990s were a great time for music, as evidenced throughout "Yellowjackets." If you weren't privy to living through the '90s, some of these songs might be delighting your ears for the very first time, and as such, might be too entranced to open your Shazam app to ask, "what song is playing?...

The Grammy for Best New Artist is often criticized. Some think the award is a curse, and oftentimes goes to artists who don’t end up being relevant for long. Another common criticism is that it’s often late to the party on certain acts, nominating them after their peak or a year or two after they were actually new to the music scene. Still, in the grand scheme of things, many of the nominations or wins artists get, even if they’re late, are deserved. Here are four artists who got their Bna spotlight a bit later than they should’ve.

If you check predictions for the 2022 Grammy nominations, you’ll see that Måneskin were pretty much locked in for a Best New Artist nomination. This made total sense: the band had a banner year with their single “Beggin’” and their international success from Eurovision.

Stranger Things will be ending after a five-season run on Netflix, but star Gaten Matarazzo admits to having a “deep fear” on the series’ looming end.

“I’m definitely ready to wrap up,” Brown said. “I feel like there’s a lot of the story that’s been told now. It’s been in our lives for a very long time. But I’m very ready to say goodbye to this chapter of my life, and open new ones up.”
Brown continued, “I’m able to create stories myself that are important to me and focus on the bigger picture. But I’m really grateful [for the show].”
The fifth and final season is reportedly to begin filming in June.

Everyone has their favorite Disney movie, and for Wednesday actor Joy Sunday, it’s The Sword in the Stone. The 1963 animated classic tells the story of King Arthur as a boy and his beginnings as one of history’s greatest heroes. But in the Tim Burton–directed Netflix series Wednesday, Sunday’s Bianca Barclay has a heroic tale all her own.

Viewers first meet Sunday’s Bianca while Wednesday (Jenna Ortega) receives a tour of her new school, Nevermore Academy, from her perky roommate, Enid (played by Emma Myers). Bianca is the coolest girl in school and takes a strong disliking to Wednesday — a human game-over to all things popular and preppy.

Paul McCartney said “eroticism” was “very much a driving force” behind everything he did in The Beatles‘ early days. Songs like “I Want to Hold Your Hand” and “I Saw Her Standing There” weren’t as innocent and sweet as we thought.

In The Lyrics: 1956 to the Present, Paul wrote that there was an eroticism “behind it all.” Although, if he’d heard himself use that word when he was seventeen, there would have been a “guffaw.”
“But eroticism was very much a driving force behind everything I did,” he wrote. “It’s a very strong thing. And, you know, that was what lay behind a lot of these love songs. ‘I want to hold your hand,’ open brackets, [and probably do a lot more!].”

Despite his love for the tune, Paul explained that it had tough beginnings. There was an issue with one of the lyrics. Paul wrote, “I said, ‘She was just seventeen. She’d never been a beauty queen.’ And John said,...
