A perfect song by Lennon

"#9 Dream" actually comes from a dream that John Lennon had and the rest is history, one of the most beautiful compositions ever made and one of my favorite as well. I remember it from my childhood, the sounds and the melody but it was near my late teens, after years without listening to it (I didn't even knew the title, I kept remembering mostly the gibberish he included as chorus) it was an explosion of sensations that took me back in time and magic was in the air. I can't describe it properly how such such sound moves people, it has to be heard.

A music video was made almost 30 years after its release and it isn't nothing new if you already know other Lennon videos, including the documentary "Imagine". It's basically some excerpts from three clips of him and Yoko Ono, their faces shifting into one another, some lovely couple moments walking around their mansion and things like that. It's fine but one imagines a more abstract imagery, or mixture of different artistic forms or some surreal compositions to go along with the amazing descriptions made by Lennon in the song. Or maybe that's just me since it's the kind of song that you could meditate positive things, positive images and memories when you close your eyes. It's that beautiful.

The song, the song and the song is what counts. The video gets an 8, a little close to the 9. 8/10.
