- On the site of a former children's home, the remains of 10 babies and one adult are found. At the dead man's ring, a former psychologist recognizes her missing husband. But the police do not believe her and so she goes on her own tracks.
- The German-born psychologist Cathrin Blake has lived in Galway since her studies. Her love for Liam Blake, a detective inspector, kept her in Ireland. Cathrin specialized in criminal psychology and worked with her husband in the Galway police force - until ten years ago, Liam suddenly disappeared without a trace. Cathrin lost the ground under her feet, it took all her strength to get out of this crisis. Today she has left the past behind. She lives with her son Paul and works as a psychologist. However, she gave up her job with the police. When one day the buried skeletons of small children and an adult man are found on the site of a former "Magdalen Home" of the Catholic Glenmore Abbey, Cathrin is sure that it is Liam. Except for Callum O'Connor, a former colleague and friend of Liam's, Cathrin's hunch falls on deaf ears. Superintendent Kelly, in particular, is inexplicably dismissive. But Cathrin doesn't give up, she has to find out what happened to Liam - even if she puts herself in extreme danger.—ADR Das Erste
