Disturbing, hopeful
mjmack-3544417 January 2021
As with the same-named books, we can only see "a slice" of America "... And not all states are represented. It did show the good, the bad, the disturbing, the hopeful. Some transitions were striking in their contrasts. We remain a diverse, troubled country. We can only hope to be unified by shared American values that transcend our divisions. Shows we're ALL blessed with diverse natural wonders. Replying to the reviewer about the poem, think it was titled "Time will tell" or "Only time will tell" but Google search gives only other poems with same title.

Provocative

Very Surprising, I loved it. Can someone please tell me the name of the poem that older man was reciting in the beginning of the film?

The diversity of America

This film does a pretty good job of showing how diverse America is, there's some painful stuff here, but some that will lift your spirit too, and make you want to do your part to try harder at making it a better place, one that lives up to its ideals a bit more as time goes on, it's not perfect, but it has a good framework, we just need to keep at it.

Strange Mix

It was a strange mix of life in America. Seemed like a lot of bias in the editing. I guess its pretty hard to depict "a day in the life" from the perspective of 300 million people though.

Nice try?

Mediocre idea with sensational expectations. It felt forced and a bit 'undercover boss' themed. Everyone has a story blah blah blah. Wow America is diverse? Who knew! Really? This film fell short and was a drag right from the start alllllll the way until it thankfully ended.
