The rolling dunes, dry and unforgiving, show no mercy to trespassers. But the few that dwell here, do so with finesse, as their adaptation and refined skills allow them to thrive. Desert survivors offer a unique view into the lives of some of our planet's most stoic creatures. As we venture across the sands we will follow a herd of mighty desert elephants, we will look at the Namaqua chameleon and the shovel snouted lizard as they both toe the line between hunter and the hunted. We will take a closer look at the plethora of creatures that dwell amidst the ancient leaves of the world's oldest plant - the welwitschia as well as follow some of the last remaining desert lions as they go in search of their next meal.
