Another Missed Opportunity
The series is roughly what we can expect from today's film production. A predictable, boring journey through a catastrophic script.
The actors seem to be bored, and everything is so forced and predictable.
They tried to add some serious themes, but it was so forced that it simply looked like a parody. Unfortunately, the show is a complete waste of time. Another great classic story that today's writers have managed to destroy.
The dialogues are really hilarious, but not in a good way. From the beginning, it is clear to us that this is another of those series in which the story is not important, so at least it is clear to us at the beginning what we are getting into.
The casting isn't bad, but the script just isn't good enough, the characters are one-dimensional, superficial and boring. Phileas Fogg is particularly poorly written, portrayed as a whiny, incompetent idiot.
This story should be fun, and instead it's tedious, boring, and completely predictable. Unfortunately, this seems like a parody of the famous Jules Verne story.
Part of the journey through America is especially hilarious, but the one through the desert is no less laughable. A boring, forced show that is not worth wasting time on.
Another missed opportunity.
