The sounds he makes are the same sound effects used for the Velociraptor from Jurassic Park (1993), a nod to George Lucas' friend and frequent collaborator, Steven Spielberg. The special sound effects for Jurassic Park were done by Lucas' company Skywalker Sound, which he founded in 1975 to create the sound effects for Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977). Since then Skywalker Sound has grown to become one of the leading sound effect, design and editing companies in the world, doing the sound effects for notable movies like Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982), Toy Story (1995), Titanic (1997), Saving Private Ryan (1998), Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003) and many others. Naturally Skywalker Sound has also done the sound effect and editing work for all the Star Wars films and series, including Clone Wars.
