Ivan is a young Russian vagrant in Paris. Rejected by all, he takes refuge in the woods of Vincennes. But this new haven of peace turns into a nightmare when Ivan tries to resist the traffic of an underworld wildlife.
During a beautiful summer in Paris, Ivan, a young Russian vagrant, lives in extreme poverty. Without money, isolated, he leaves the city to take refuge in the woods of Vincennes. Ivan meets equivocal young men and women over whom he has no control. Then he meets Pierre, a family man, with whom he commits the irreparable.
Freshly arrived with no place to call home, Russian immigrant Ivan wanders the streets of a hostile Paris, finding shelter in the wooded outskirts. However, he soon discovers that human relationships in these idyllic surroundings come at a price, coming across ambiguous young men and women on whom he has no hold.
