The self-proclaimed "King of Romance" Jim Powers (better known in the porn world for his numerous gonzo titles) strikes out with this pure vanilla, low-impact set of vignettes about young love. It resurrects the '60s (and highly dated) technique of S.O.L.I.'s (semi-obligatory lyrical interludes) with couples frolicking on the beach or on the ferris wheel at a fun fair.
The attractive cast smooches and humps on cue, but there is nothing going on here -close to all-sex yet low in energy. Only one of four segments features dialog, as AJ Applegate and Giovanni Francesco briefly engage in small talk in the kitchen while he's cooking spaghetti, but then get on with the main event: XXX sex.
Powers' heart may have been in the right place, but his inspiration evaporated this time out.
