What "Amanda To The Rescue" is all about...
kewlbeansnj23 December 2018
Amanda Giese is the host and founder of Panda Paws Rescue, a company that concentrates their rescues on special needs animals that would normally never be adopted at a typical rescue. This program shows the daily ins-and-outs of what Amanda goes through and everything that she does for these special animals, one of which is a newly famous boxer named Duncan Lou Who. Duncan was born with a medical condition that made his rear legs unusable and were therefore amputated, relieving the stress and pain of dragging them around. Duncan is a part of the Panda Paws family, and is only one example of the type of animal rescue that Amanda and her organization fight for on a daily basis! Tune in to learn more about these amazing animals and the wonderful members and volunteers of Panda Paws Rescue!

Heartwarming Stories of Animal Rescue, Rehab & Adoption
jpazjp22 May 2019
My husband & I LOVE this show!! We hope there will be a Second Season (even more.) The love, patience & caring she has for All the Animals that her & her family help to rescue, rehab & adopt out is amazing & heartwarming. The family dynamics are also full of love & laughter. If you are a true Animal Lover - this is the show for you.

Doing the right thing....

I've always had cats and love dogs too. Since I retired I've catered to older and special needs cats. It takes commitment, money and constant adaptation to adjust to the next surprise they have for you.

Amanda and her family have my utmost admiration for their dedication and optimisim. I'm so glad to find a show like this, and know there are people who do the right thing with all pets, regardless of the disabilities.....

Can't say enough great things about it!

Absolutely adore this show. My mom and I have watched them all together and we are really hoping for a season 2 renewal update soon! Amanda has a heart of gold and she is a great role model and example of a person with tattoos that isn't mean or "bad"-she breaks a stigma, which benefits society as a whole! Plus, her relationship with her daughter is so sweet. This show is genuine, and we desperately need more genuine people on TV.

LOVE THIS SHOW

My daughter and I (she's now 10) have watched this show and seen most episodes 2 or 3 times ... trying to be patient whild Animal Planet takes its time deciding whether or not to renew the show.

Hoping they keep renewing the show for as long as Amanda and her family are willing to keep the cameras rolling ... We are both crossing my fingers, hoping and praying.

Not a true rescuer, only wants TV exposure
lrankinlr16 November 2019
This Amanda lady is nothing but an opportunist to get onto TV. Her past is filled with nothing but photos for possible appearances on TV shows. Her rescue isnt that. It's for her to make money for herself. Period. I am completely turned off her show as well as Pit Pulls n Parolees trying to be combined together. Tia Torres pours her entire salary, as well as her family's, into their organization and they actually do good. The Amanda show is so fake. And in the commercial Tia Torres can be seen trying to distance herself from the fae Amanda. I feel bad for all involved in that show. I feel especially bad for her kids. You can just FEEL how Amanda's kids are acting. I wont be watching either show anymore. I don't like opportunistic rescues...the animals suffer horrendously.

ego!

I love watching the animal shows but this chick acts way too full of herself. Seems fake with a huge ego! I hated the episode with Pits and paroles because they really obviously care alot and are never looking for attention. Dang Amanda really tries to promote herself! I am with the others. If she cares about the animals, just do it like most people do!

Boring show
texas_robin8217 September 2020
Very boring show. Same thing every episode. It's about a single person who rescues dogs with special needs. Pretty much every episode is identical. She doesn't go out into the streets and get her hands dirty like most rescues. She gets her dogs from other rescues. And then rehomes them after she does any medical help they need.
