America must go to war! December 7, 1941, a day which will live in infamy.

As President Roosevelt has continued to be besieged for aid and weaponry by European allies, Pearl Harbor was attacked by the Japanese fleet. The sleeping giant has been rudely awakened.

Note that at the beginning of the episode, it shows two carriers at anchor. Historically this depiction is inaccurate as all three carriers of the Pacific fleet were not present; the last being the Lexington, CV-2, which had left on a resupply mission late Friday night. The superstructure on the carriers shown appear to be Saratoga class with single flight decks.

Rumors and rumors of rumors affect the Crown Prince Prince while in London as he tries to navigate policies and politics. America must now rally.

Another anachronism arises as the Crown Prince debarks an American plane arriving in Scotland. Here is shown "USAF" on the wing of the craft but the Air Force didn't exist until 1947. During the war the Army Air Core predated the Air Force.
