Initially, Kal requested a replica of the ISS Space Station and a Lil' Kim doll. But due to cost and intricacy of the ISS Space Station, the production ultimately decided against it. Lil' Kim's fate? As Kal learned from Mr. Ha, it's taboo to replicate real people if they are still alive. In her place, Kal ordered a wireless router. He doesn't want to deal with dial-up in the afterlife.
One of Mr. Ha's favorite creations was an almost life-sized piano. Mr. Ha made the paper piano for the late Wong Kai Kui, the lead singer of the Cantopop band, Beyond.
"That was a fabulous [paper] production, because I love his songs so much that I put a lot more effort [into] making that paper offering for him," Mr. Ha told Kal during the interview.

During the interview with Kal, Frank talked about how hard it was for his father to establish the memorial park in Malaysia. It took nearly 3 years to get approval from the government, in part because the idea of a privately owned memorial park in Malaysia was unprecedented. Today, land in Malaysia is scarce, including funeral plots. When the Nilai Memorial Park first opened, a funeral plot cost 80,000 ringgit (approximately $19,000). Today that same plot runs for 1.2 million ringgit (over $280,000).
