The cottage location in Kincardine is actually owned by lead actor Michael Masurkevitch's family, and there really isn't running water in the winter.
A handmade pillow in the cottage has Ash from the 'Evil Dead' series holding a severed head.
There is no heat in the cottage where part of the film was shot. The temperature dropped to minus 10 degrees Celsius a couple of times. The cast and crew stayed warm using space heaters and by opening the oven.
In October of 2020, Brian Lockyer, Tomo Nogi and Steven Lockyer spent three nights editing some of the rough cut of the film in the same cabin a majority of the film was shot.
After three winters of filming, principle photography FINALLY wrapped on February 10th, 2021.
