Quality new indie release
JGReviews25 September 2019
Tag Team Truckers is a new release indie dramedy that I found on Amazon Prime. I was curious to check out some of the latest releases and noticed that Tag Team Truckers was just coming off a successful film festival run and decided to give it a shot. The film follows two brothers, who could not be more dissimilar, who make an impulsive decision to become commercial truckers. Tag Team Truckers both looks and feels superior to most indie films that you'll see, with high quality camera work and overall production value. The film has plenty of laughs, particularly with the quirky lead brother, but there's some drama in the film as well. If you're looking for a quality new indie film to watch, I'd recommend Tag Team Truckers.

funny indie comedy that delivers some great laughs
williamgway1 May 2020
Wow. Funny indie movies are a rarity. Especially ones that are dealing with buddy comedies. But this film does a nice job. The writing was very good and the acting as well. There are really some funny moments within the characters and others, including a great scene with a chihuahua. If you want a few laughs recommend this movie.

Enjoyable, super funny comedy
jblockbuster2 October 2019
Two very different brothers make a sudden decision to become commercial truckers. Their differences give a lot of room for gags and comedy, and the superb acting does the rest. The film is hilarious, well acted, well directed and therefore is having everything you need for a fun evening watching and indie comedy!

A heart-warming odd couple story
Phil_Chester25 September 2019
A classic odd-couple story, where the two leads are brothers, rather than misfits pushed together by circumstances. They have some amusing adventures, which take them through some ups and downs. And, most importantly, they learn how to become better brothers in a heart-warming finale. A beautiful, life-affirming tale which rewards your viewing.

An utterly charming Indie Comedy. With terrific performances and brilliant direction the relationships are convincing and recognisable, with an impressive belly laughs and gag rate. If you're after an easy movie to kick back with, check this out!

A surprising, enjoyable watch!
Smgrte23586029 September 2019
This indie film reminds me of those great road movies of the past, with two couldn't-be-more-different brothers deciding to become truck drivers. There's a lot of humor due to the characters and plot but a healthy dose of family drama as well. A surprising, enjoyable watch!

Big indie Lebowski with famski
kennyhughes18 January 2020
A fun romp that is paced and grows on you. The muck about Bennie is the anti-hero screw up loses his girlfriend to some weak relationship qualifications and freeloads on the family that creates a lot of tension...but...he also finds a way to bring their racist dad together with the family (including his daughter and her new girlfriend). A light goes on it seems maybe from pulling the family together for a happy thanksgiving seems to be the turning point that he figures out he can be a liberated soul AND fit in to a corporate job without losing his cool doggy biscuit start up business and his own self. It's sweet and the grows on you the more it goes. That was a welcome twist.

Good chemistry
KimmyTKA8 October 2019
Good chemistry between the brothers. Chuckled out loud a few times. Camera work was really good - especially for an indie. Would recommend.

Very humorous and genuinely entertaining.
michael-gz4 October 2019
Benny asks his girlfriend to marry him with a ten dollar ring that he bought at flea market, she rejects him and kicks him out, then he later ends up losing his job and has to move in with his OCD brother Dom, who is constantly annoyed by Benny's exasperating habits and ways. The college drop out (Benny) tries to search for work but fails at convincing anyone to hire him. He convinces Dom to go along with him on a small venture as partners and that's when it all becomes very interesting.

It was a very humorous and entertaining film for sure. I laughed a lot, especially with Benny's peculiar character mannerisms and the moment to moment conversations with his brother. Great chemistry between them. My favorite part that had me cracking up, was when he first gets the dog and says, Want to be part of my biker gang? And we see the chihuahua's face. Haha. That was hilarious.

To be honest, I was thinking that it was going to be another bad movie full of boring moments and silly dialogue but it wasn't. It was pretty well written and the entire story flowed well. I also loved the music in the opening credits scenes. Pretty nice.

Overall, it was a cool film to watch. Recommend.

Really really bad
donelz7 December 2019
This was an absolutely awful movie with the worst acting I have ever seen. I have no idea why it has a 7.8/10 but can only assume that the rating and reviews were people directly involved with the making of this so called movie. The title bares no relevance whatsoever. Absolute waste of time watching even some of this.

Charming Indie Comedy
metroran14 October 2019
Fun story about two contrasting brothers. Michael Morford is particularly likeable in the lead. Jason Ancona does a fine job putting all the pieces together... acting, music, cinematography are all great. Worth the time.

You're in for a fun wild ride.

This movie was quite the treat and had me laughing through and through. One of the main characters is a totally screw up but it's lovable and his shenanigans are fun to watch. This movie is a good time with some nice heartfelt drama to balance it out. Worth the watch.

Full of humor & heart!
alanakmd15 October 2019
These 'odd couple' -esque brothers team up to become truckers. The chemistry between the two leads is superb and they take us on a humorous journey that is also full of heart. Loved it! (And I want that dog!!)

Really entertaining
directortim201219 October 2019
A pair of brothers try to upgrade their downtrodden lives. That's the set up to this really enjoyable film. The movie is funny enough to be really entertaining. But at the same time real enough to pull us into the brother's story. I liked both brothers and their rapport is great. It's a real quality film with tons to keep you engaged. I enjoyed this film from start to finish!

Brothers, boys, & big rigs...
miss-9526516 January 2020
Mindless, mild, but ultimately so good natured, energetic and fun that it would be hard not to enjoy this little ride for as long as it lasts. This little indie reminded me of The Odd Couple in some ways, though I went back and forth with who "I" might be in the film (I have a brother and he is 100% the opposite of me in every way). The whole thing exudes a reckless sort of panache, an overwhelming confidence and abandon - what's not to like?

Heart warming
newclearday24 November 2019
The story was so real! I have read books about how to find a stable career path and never really found them relateable enough but this story takes everything into account about work life balance. I never see endings of movies or stories as satisfying but it was relatable, realistic, funny, tense, in a perfect balance with a remarkably positive impact. I cannot wait to see the rest of his body of work as a writer and director!

My journey feels validated and the movie gives me a sense of peace with my own family and work related hardships. I teared up but feel better after watching.

Fun Ride
artistgp3 October 2019
An indie film that's a really fun ride. If you're looking for a different type of comedy then you'll be in for a treat with Tag Team Truckers. This lovable loser takes us on a zany adventure. It isn't a film with a million dollar budget but it's clearly made with a lot of passion and that can go a long way. Check it out for yourself.

A gem! Glad I found this treasure.

All smiles! Well a tug or two on the heartstrings....

Two brothers, as opposite as they could be, come together for a common goal (persuaded to be all in with a little family guilt) and the journey of finding purpose begins. A sweet, comedic tale, I am so pleased I took a chance on this little award winning Indy film. .....and they ARE bat ears.

This is a good one folks!
craigahrens30 September 2019
What a nice surprise. I watched the trailer and I thought I "might" enjoy" this indie film. Boy was I mistaken... I loved it!! It was simply terrific!! The two leads (the brothers) were so good! They played off each other really well and had great chemistry! Dom (Scott Dean) did such a wonderful job as the straight-laced brother. A complete opposite from his brother. That gap between the two brothers is what made this film so much fun to watch. I don't want to give to much away... but put this on your list to watch.

Fun lighthearted Romp
davidjzellis21 October 2019
This fun light hearted comedy film about two brothers works well primarily from the two actors playing the brothers. If you miss the comedy road movies that they don't seem to make as much anymore give this one a try it's a lot of fun and a lot of laughs.
