- In the mountains of Carinthia, Fellner and Eisner have to investigate the murder of an unpopular wooden baron. Foolish, only one shoulder implant left from the corpse. Moritz meets an old friend whom Bibi does not trust.
- Moritz Eisner and Bibi Fellner receive a special assignment that takes the Viennese investigators to a remote corner of Carinthia at the foot of the Großglockner. Hubert Tribusser, the junior boss of a timber company of the same name, is missing there. His father, a specialist of the Vienna police chief, does not want to leave the investigation to the local police station. As soon as Eisner and Fellner arrive in Mölltal, the search is already over - but not the unpopular case. Workers at the sawmill found "something" from Hubert in the kiln ash: a titanium implant from his shoulder joint. The discovery points to a crime that someone wanted to cover up. The first suspicion falls on the environmental activist Holzer, against whom the Tribussers have filed a defamation lawsuit and who is said to have had a heated argument with Hubert on the evening of the murder. In the search for the perpetrators and the motive, the Viennese investigative duo uncovers that the dead man was anything but a saint. Hubert took what he wanted: money from the company treasury, countless affairs and even the wife of his own brother Klaus. The local police chief Alois Feinig, whom Eisner knows from before, is involved in the investigation. He provides the Viennese duo with local insider knowledge, Asian wisdom and a promising trail. While Eisner thinks highly of his old friend, Bibi watches him with increasing skepticism.—ADR Das Erste
