You've got to hand it to this director. He makes it sound as if his films are profound flights of philosophising or profundity, as exemplified in the synopses provided, when the spoken dialogue is, in fact, just there to justify the porn.
There's nothing "mystical" about this film! The conversations aren't deep. What is good is that the director has found, for once, two guys who are clearly into each other and who are macho and convincing. So many of his other films contain faggy characters or ones who seem to be performing, unlike these two guys who were enjoying.
So, the mark goes up to a five. It would have been higher had the dreary conversation not been there.
