8 years of work in nearly 1 hour Star Trek. "The Beginning of the End" was the last Star Trek Fanfilm before CBS started their draconic Rules for fanfilms. So the title could be meant as a self fulfilling prophecy.
Almost done by just one guy (Jürgen Kaiser) and his friends show how real Fans love Gene Roddenberrys Masterpiece and put so much affort into it.
Sure, there is some fanservice and the voice actors sometimes are a little weak, but the story is great and good paced with some awesome CGI Work by Tobias Richter and Henning Kleist. You can watch it for free on YouTube with german speech and english subtitles.
