Peter Pan (2000)
Over The Hill
This movie was 'OK' as far as the casting that they used.
Peter Pan productions have always been a bone picker with me because for some unknown reason they have always used 'over the hill' actors and actresses in most of the main roles. The author wrote about kids and kids should be cast in the leading roles! Someday some producer and director will realize this and we will have a 'smashing' musical production of this great KIDS story.
Cherry Blossom Paradise (1998)
Real Time Reality
If you like movies that are shot in real time with a certain amount of realism this one has it.
It has some very sensuous scenes that are obviously not 'faked'. It is a showcase for Miho Nomoto and with that in mind I think the picture does a great job.
The picture was not filmed with a plot in mind. It was filmed with the model in mind. :-)
Bone Daddy (1998)
A thriller in the tradition of 'Silence of The Lambs'
This picture keeps you on the edge of your seat from the beginning. It is done in the same style as 'Silence of The Lambs' and the plot develops in a manner that has you guessing about what happens next. I found this movie up among the top films in the serial killer tradition.
The Paper Brigade (1996)
A great movie for children and young adults
This movie is totally delightful and children of all ages should enjoy it. The plot is good and develops very well. It centers around a group of young people and their trials and tribulations in undertaking the delivery of the daily news. Along the way many things happen to them proving being the paper person is not such an easy job.
Invasion of Privacy (1996)
I found this picture very poorly constructed.
The first half of this movie was 'wooden'. The first half of the movie reminded me of a poorly produced high school play, The second half would have been a little better if the director had not decided to multi-screen it continuously ruining the section that might have redeemed the plot.
