Time Chasers (1994)
Friends shouldn't let friends make these kinds of movies.
Watching Time Chasers, it obvious that it was made by a bunch of friends. Maybe they were sitting around one day in film school and said, "Hey, let's pool our money together and make a really bad movie!" Or something like that. What ever they said, they still ended up making a really bad movie--dull story, bad script, lame acting, poor cinematography, bottom of the barrel stock music, etc. All corners were cut, except the one that would have prevented this film's release. Life's like that.
Eegah (1962)
Eagah? Yu-uck!
A perfect example of why you shouldn't follow a trend. Back when this film came out, monster movies were popular. So were teen flicks and movies with "rock" music in them. Why not combine all three? Why--because it stinks! At least hire someone with talent, not your son, to be the hero.
Revenge of the Creature (1955)
Sequels should be against the law.
"The Creature From the Black Lagoon"--now that was a good movie. Sure, it's hokey. But it still works--the scary gill man, the hot&steamy swamp, the goofy 3-D. Why mess with a good thing? Because this is Hollywood, and they won't stop until they've ruined every good thing.
The Wrong Trousers (1993)
A cracking good film.
Nick Park is a genius! What a wonderful, charming piece of animation, bursting with humor, suspense, and character. Possibly one of the most original animated shorts I've ever seen.
The Wild World of Batwoman (1966)
Appalling
Wretched acting, poor (or non-existent) script, and a terrible plot combine to make an awful movie. Thank god it was out of focus.
Agent for H.A.R.M. (1966)
What does H.A.R.M. stand for? Not much.
This movie answers the question, "Is it possible to make a spy film totally devoid of action and suspense?" Yes is the resounding answer.
The truly sad story is that this film was made instead of other, more deserving films.
Casablanca (1942)
They don't make them like this anymore.
Classic line after classic line. A wonderful picture, tightly plotted, with not a wasted scene. I don't think Bogart ever did better, and he was one of the great ones.
