Some of the photography and such are very good in this, but Kate's lack of acting ability is apparent and startling in this -- much more so than was evident in her earlier videos.

This is a great film that works on multiple levels: the story of the model girl for Alice in Wonderland, the hard search for the truth of events that happened 70 years previous, a love story of sorts, an old woman confronting her own mortality...

The visuals are great and the acting is first-rate.

The photography on this movie is great, and a lot of the acting is great -- but some of the scenes get very heavy-handed (it's supposed to be a comedy, but somebody's crying every 10 minutes...) and grim which distracts from the flow of the movie and is unnecessary.
