There's Something About Mary (1998)
'' TOTALLY FUNNY''
This comedy with the beautiful and talented Cameron Diaz is not only funny, it's hilarious, definitely a #1 farce. with it's quirky characters and it's die laughing scenes, it is by far the best comody this year. I give it 10 stars and rate it as a Must See.
Gia (1998)
OUTSTANDING!
This film was definitely one of the Greatest films I've seen all year. The acting skills of Angelina Jolie soar right out of your television into your heart. She plays a 70's model Gia Carangi, who at a very early age becomes famous, addicted to drugs, and gay. She developes AIDS from using an infected needle and dies at the age of 26. I just can't say enough about the way she portrays this young girl , and how it makes you feel watching her destroy her life. It makes you cry, and hate, and feel pain that isn't, but becomes yours as you feel for, and identify with the character. It is especially sad knowing that it is a true story and having the poems and things taken out of Gia's journal and put into the movie, makes you feel like she's your close friend that you can save, and your let-down at the end when you know you can't. It is definitely a movie I highly recommend watching, guaranteed to stir your emotions in every way.
Mojave Moon (1996)
It was OK.
I think the film was o.k. and I liked the soundtrack but the film was a little cheesy and sometimes didn't make a whole lot of sense. I have seen the movie 4 times and it does continue to make me smile because of the wonderfully beautiful and talented actress Angelina Jolie, the only reason I watched the movie. It's about this older guy who moves to L.A. and meets this young beautiful girl. He drives her home to the Mojave desert, falls asleep with her mother, and wakes up to find a dead guy in his trunk. There wasn't enough emotion in the movie, like the girl (Ellie) never really cared that it was her boyfriend in the trunk, and her mother didn't care that it was her own boyfriend that put him there. Anyway if you like Angelina Jolie it's definitely worth a look..
Mad Love (1995)
IT'S WAY COOL!
I thought it was a great movie. It told a great story about love, relationships, and most of all teenage parental problems. The beautifully talented Drew Barrymore gave off a heavenly light when she was happy, a sympathetic feeling when she was sad that made you want to help her. She was a little scary towards the end but all in all it was a great show with a moderately happy ending. She has a great co-star Chris O'Donnal and it has a really cool soundtrack. If you're a Drew fan I'm sure you've seen it, and if you haven't you definitely should.
