White Chicks (2004)

This movie rocked. I woke up my household from laughing so loud.
23 January 2005
Since I first saw the preview I knew I wanted to see this movie, and I was not disappointed at all. I have never laughed so hard in my life. This movie was so funny. The Wayans brothers did a terrific job with the acting, writing and directing. Shawn and Marlon are flawless together. I don't think there is anything that these brothers cannot accomplish together. I loved their movie Scary Movie and I have always enjoyed their humour, but this movie was more than I expected. Plus, it's always nice to see guys understanding a woman, even if it is just in a movie.

If you feel like a nice out of the ordinary comedy..then this is the film for you. But I should warn you, some scenes are not suitable to watch while trying to take a drink of your soda. Cuz that stuff is just going to come flying out when you least expect it.

Absolutely Brilliant!
16 October 2004
I have to admit I went into this movie feeling a bit skeptical considering I really hadn't heard much about it. But my love for Jim Carrey is what made me even consider it...and I was extremely impressed with what I watched.

Jim Carrey gives such an incredible performance that you can truly feel what his character is going through, and they say if an actor can do that, then they have done their job. Well he was outstanding.

This movie actually made me think of all the "what ifs" that I have allowed to past throughout my time, and I love when a film can do that for me.

It captivated me and I think that if you've ever been in love, then you have to give this movie a chance. It is totally unlike anything I've ever watched and through these characters no matter how big or small, you will find a piece of yourself, and you don't even have to look hard.

Radio (2003)

Cuba's 2nd Oscar Nod and Win
21 November 2003
Ever since the first preview that I caught I wanted to see this movie. And then I became hesitant after it's release...I figured if you've seen one film surrounding this story line, you've seen them all.

I was wrong.

I have to admit I was extremely impressed. I was so captured by Cuba Gooding Jr.'s performance as Radio that I found myself completely drawn to him. I cried when he was hurt and I said "aww" when things were going well for him.

Ed Harris is remarkable as Coach Jones. But then again when isn't Ed Harris awesome in any role he takes on? Both these talented men take you right into the lives of Radio and Jones that you just feel as if you belong there right with them.

I think this movie is well deserved of viewing. I thought it was well written and beautifully portrayed.

Beautifully done

I went through an emotional roller coaster watching this movie. I laughed, I cried and I got upset.

The story was extremely touching and the acting was fantastic.

The Thornton's are extraordinary people and I felt very privileged to have the opportunity for the glance into their spectacular lives.

S1m0ne (2002)
I thought this was a great movie!
4 September 2002
Except for the preview I was given in the theatre while viewing another movie I had never heard of S1m0ne.

But it grabbed my attention and I vowed to see it. I wasn't disappointed at all. I found it very interesting and it held my interest until the end.

There are alot of great movies that don't get the hype that they deserve. I believe this to be one of them. Al Pacino was fantastic and it didn't hurt that he looked awesome.

I would suggest spending the time to watch the movie. I think you'll find it worth your time!!!!

I Am Sam (2001)
10/10
The most heartwarming movie I have seen
26 January 2002
I knew I was going to enjoy this movie when i cried during the trailer. But I was overwhelmed at the full impact that the movie did actually have on me all together. Both Sean Penn and Dakota Fanning were fantastic in their roles, and I have never been as impressed with Mr. Penn as i was in I am Sam.

His acting ability in this film was amazing. What I think got me the most was that this was a story that I had never been a witness to before and it was so captivating and very emotional.

I have to say it was one of the best movie's I have seen and I have watched more movies then I care to admit.

Runaway Bride (1999)
10/10
A Movie That Leaves You In Love
23 March 2000
I went on opening night to see this movie, and I was there for the following 3 weekends because I could not get enough. An excellent plot, one not done before to my viewing, excellent cast, music and of course directing. The movie takes you through friendship, love, confusion, self assurance, the highs and the lows....and you can't help but love every minute of it. Or atleast I couldn't. Date flick, chick flick, bonding flick, does not matter how you view Runaway Bride....it will capture you in the 2 hours and should definately leave a smile on your face afterwards.

How love becomes beauty
1 August 1999
Everyone dreams of a love so beautiful and true, one that wraps your heart up in knots but in a way that makes you happy. After watching Message in a Bottle, I felt inspired that this kind of love does exist. Whether it may be for me or others, it is rewarding to know that if someone can write a story of love so beautifully, then one can live it as well.

Silent Fall (1994)
Good Movie
30 May 1999
I had many doubts about viewing this film after all the negative reviews that it was given. But I was intrigued by the story line and I did not want this movie to end. I found it to be filled with suspense, and it sure kept me guessing. And it was a delight to see newcomer Liv Tyler do a great job.

I would recommend this film, but then everyone is entitled to their opinion.

The Ref (1994)
Enthralled with this film
21 December 1998
I was so enthralled with this film. I found that the actors were great in their roles and they made me believe in who they were. It was so funny, and had such great sarcasm....that it has become one of my all time favourites. This is a film that I could watch over and over, and I actually do. Judy Davis and Kevin Spacey's talent is incredible, they have great compatibility and I just never wanted this movie to end.

If you want to to relax and enjoy yourself for awhile and do not mind splitting a gut while doing so.. I highly recommend this film.
