Very Bad Things (1998)
One mean movie!!!
This is one mean-spirited movie. It starts out pretty good, but after a while, it all goes out of hand. And in the end, you don't really care what happens. It's funny, and never really boring. There's just something missing (like....a script!!!). And by the way, Christian Slater is the film's biggest flaw!
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998)
Cool as Ice
I was lucky enough to see the movie before it was released in Iceland (it hasn't been released yet), and I must say, it's a much better film than I expected. I usually don't like British films, but this one is without a doubt the best British film I've ever seen. It's funny, it's violent, it's very cool, but above all, it's entertaining. There are dozens of twists, and you will have to maintain your attention, but in the end, it's all worth it.
I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (1998)
Give me a break!
I Know.... was not a very good movie, but since Danny Cannon (Young Americans) is the director of the sequel, I decided to go see it. And if it wasn't for Jennifer Love Hewitt's wonderful cleavage, I would have walked out. Can't Hardly Wait was scarier than this.
Eva, la Venere selvaggia (1968)
The King of Bad Movies!
I have seen the movie. Don't ask me why, how or when. "Plan 9 from outer space", watch out, cus' here comes the worst movie of all time. Hilariously bad music, bad acting and basically a very bad idea. For making me and my friends laugh, I'll give it a 10! (Watch out for that catchy title tune!)
Se7en (1995)
It changed my life!
Before I saw David Fincher's "Se7en" I liked movies. After I saw it, I started to LOVE movies. The atmosphere, the music, the acting, that gut-wrenching finale.....what a movie!!!!! The fact that "The Silence of the Lambs" is considered a better movie by the critics than "Se7en" is a scandal. Kevin Spacey should have been at least nominated for his role as John Doe. Keyser Söse, my @$$. Andrew Kevin Walker's screenplay is also superb. So is Fincher's directing ("The Game" kicks @$$. Can't wait for "The Fight Club"). And Morgan Freeman. And Brad Pitt. And everyone else involved in the making of this movie. Plus, that title sequence made me consider that maybe the academy should add "Best title sequence" to the Academy Awards. So, if you like pure suspense, without the gore, watch "Se7en"...again!
