Mr. Iglesias (2019)
Not bad, not good either.
The show is just okay. Not worth binging on, maybe 2 episodes at a time. The humor is cheap, a lot of low hanging fruit. Essentially a step above a Disney Channel sitcom.
The Cool Kids (2018)
Don't waste your time
This show is pure dog crap. Don't waste your time. Cheap jokes, poor writing, every kinda of trope you can think of.
There's No Time for Love, Charlie Brown (1973)
Another classic...
Another classic by Charles Schultz. I love this as I loved all other Peanuts animated shows. Charlie Brown is stressing over his grades in school. The gang takes a trip to the museum and have to write a paper on thier experience. The problem is that Charlie Brown, Sally, Snoopy, Marci & Peppermint Patty end up in a supermarket next to the museum. Marci is the only one to figure it out, though. Hearing Peppermint Patty describe the display of canned tomatoes as "pop art" was great! I though t it was brilliant when the rest of the group thought the prices of groceries was the museums attempt to try and raise money to stay open. Mistaking the butcher shop for dinosaur remains...too funny! I think you'll enjoy this.
I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown (2003)
Still makes me smile...
Peanuts still makes me smile after all these years. This new animated feature was very good. For the big Peanuts aficianados, you'll recognize a lot of the gags are from the weekly strips themselves, some dating back to the 1960s. It was done very well and I very much enjoyed it.
Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002)
Fantastic!
If you've not yet seen this movie, you may not want to read any further... ...Fantastic! That is the best way for me to sum up this movie. I know that a lot of people were disappointed in The Phantom Menace, I was NOT one of them. But this movie is far superior. The story was better, the film was set at a faster pace and the action was spectacular. A visual masterpiece. It is indeed, as Mr. Lucas said, a darker movie than the last. But it is to be expected in the grand scheme of the Star Wars story. The first battle of the Clone Wars between the Jedi and the Republic is akin Gladiator meets..well...meets Star Wars! The final duel sequence between Count Dooku (Christopher Lee) and Yoda is breathtaking. To see the little Jedi Master movie around so swiftly and display his prowess lets the viewer know exactly why he is the Ultimate Jedi Master...he steals the movie.
