somewhat peculiar and definitely worth the money

saw this one many times, great christopher walken (never mind his make-up, tho) wonderful performance by viggo mortensen. great visuals, locations and lighting give the movie this wonderful, peculiar gothic atmosphere. more mortensen please!

Wyatt Earp (1994)
nevermind Tombstone vs. Wyatt Earp
3 April 1999
what's the deal with 'Tombstone's better' ? these are 2 very different approaches on the subject, so nevermind that dumb argument about which film is better.

Costner's Wyatt Earp features amazing visuals, u can almost smell the horses. Costner, Hackman and Quaid r brilliant in their parts. It's a beautifully crafted movie, with a fantastic score. Cudos to James Newton Howard for that one! And there is that one moment when Earp and Holiday first meet in the Saloon and look into each other's eye. Pure movie magic.

Triple Cross (1966)
a true gem among the usual spy 'n die movies
3 April 1999
ok, it has its flaws...and it's too long but nevermind that. 'fantastique histoire..' features a stellar international cast with christopher plummer playing the amoral eddie chapman playing the enemies against each other. it's dialogue and style is quite 'tongue-in-the-cheek', quite humorous at times. one of the more light-headed yet very entertaining WW2/spy-movies. definitely worth seeing, but don't take it too seriously.
