The movie that spelled the end of JTT
9 May 2005
From 1994-1998 movie producers were obsessed with turning JTT into a major film star because he was the voice of the Lion King. With the exception of the Lion King, every film Thomas would star in did poorly at the box office. This film was no exception. Producers have made the same mistake with stars like Jennifer Love Hewitt and Giovanni Ribisi just to name a few. Its amazing it can take up the 3 duds to show an actor has no star power. I might be wrong but I don't think Thomas has had a starring role since this film. After this dismal failure, filmmakers must have since the light a realized Thomas was such an overrated child actor that had grown up.

Blossom (1990–1995)
Wouldn't even last a full season in this day age
5 December 2003
If this show was created today the major networks wouldn't touch it. It would be another horrible WB sitcom that runs a season or two. When they came out with the list of 50 worst shows of all time this show should have been on it. Around this time producers were obsessed with making Mayim Bialik a major star, because of her 10 minute role in the movie Beaches. A real sign that this show wasn't as popular as the E network and Entertainment Tonight made it out to be was when they made a TV movie and it placed in the bottom 5. Another sign was the actors have not done much since the show ended. Joey Lawrence's new show only ran 2 seasons and I just saw Bialik for the first time in while on 7th heaven. In late 80's and early 90's the theme for sitcoms was to be really sappy and luckily that has changed.

Survivor (2000– )
The awful reunion completely scared this whole season.
30 October 2003
No matter how good a survivor is it is the finale and reunion that will seem to make or break the season. In my opion this Survivor will always be remembered for the having the worst Survivor Renunion Show because of one simple reason: Rosie O'Donnel. What was CBS thinking? She turned the show into a complete spectacle for herself and only let certain contestants talk. By contrast many feel Thailand was a boring edition but the finale and awesome reunion seemed to make up for that. Luckily CBS realized the best way to do the reunion is to have host Jeff Probst do it. Even Bryant Gumble made more sense because he would interview the contestants on the morning show.

Parker Lewis Can't Lose (1990–1993)
Travesty
18 August 2000
This show premiered the same year as Ferris Beauler on NBC. It is a total injustice that this show ran for three years and Ferris Beauler only ran for one. Despite low ratings Fox would not cancel this show. One time it went off the air for a few months and Fox really promoted its return. A lot of good it did the show continued for where it left off at the bottom of the ratings

Family Matters (1989–1998)
Prime example of a show that stayed on way too long!
27 May 2000
If producers have hit shows and wonder if they should quit while their ahead they should think of Rossanne, Murphy Brown, Home Improvement, Mad About You, and most definately Family Matters. All these shows were funny when they first started, but began getting stale after 4 or 5 years. When this happens people tend to remember the bad moments over the funny moments. It seemed like Family Matters was never going to be cancelled. Part the reason the show got good ratings after it became stale was because their was no serious competition from other networks. When the show moved to CBS it went up against ABC's new hot show Sabrina the Teenage Witch and got crushed immediately in the ratings. What was CBS thinking buying the rights to such an old show that lost all of its creativity. But thank heavens they did or Family might still be on the air right now.

Why do people make a big deal about Claire Danes?
10 May 2000
I remember when another bad movie had premiered, The Mod Squad, I couldn't understand why people were making a big deal about it. Then someone told me because Claire Danes was in it. I still couldn't understand. She is not pretty and picks such stupid choices for movies. And this movie only justifies why the media should not hype her up. Why would anyone think China would be more fun than Hawiia. By the end of the movie you don't care if the girls are free or not. It is really sad Bill Pullman goes from doing Independence Day to this crap.
