Nothing impressive.

I suppose there is not much one should expect from a teen comedy and that is exactly why I went to see the film. I wanted something light and entertaining. But even if you were as tired and sleepy as I was when I went, you could not fail to notice how shallow it was. The female protagonist could not convince me at any stage that she was the popular, active, fashion victim girl who expected to go the the ball with the most popular guy at school. She is fine as Sabrina, but she was just plain and uninteresting here... The rest of the cast was alright, the plot was predictable. The only character well played was Dulcie, although she takes part in the dullest moment of the movie when she and Nicole are together in the lab and Nicole reveals to her how the protagonist's mother had died but somehow the whole episode is just dull. The only thing that made me laugh was the video one of the students prepared where he was ridiculing everyone. Nothing special, nothing horrible, a pretty painless watch....

Entrapment (1999)

It was unbearable. But watchable.

Another action movie for the fans of the 'look-how-these-stunning-people-do-the-impossible' sort. Most people could not act, only Sean Connery was very good... And somehow what you see was not much beyond the trailler...

Glad to be wrong!

Having read all of Oscar Wilde and having been completely charmed by his wit I thought that a film would never successfully capture the tone. But I was wrong: The cast was excellent and the whole film is funny, witty and well worth seeing!!!
