Spider-Man 2 (2004)
Sam Raimi gets it
Sam Raimi continues the Spiderman Franchise with an even better sequel. The plot is advanced significantly, and the action scenes are breath taking. His excellent blend of drama and humor keeps the viewer's attention from beginning to end.
Other comic book adaptations have relied too heavily on special effects. This movie (like the first one) continues to rely on compelling characters and gifted actors. The special effects are great, but they are also relevant to the story.
Watching spiderman swing through the city is cool, but nothing captures the imagination as much as Peter Parker and his trials and tribulations.
Comics are at their heart soap operas with super powers and spiderman 2 is a perfect example of how well this formula works.
Il ritmo del silenzio (1991)
Horrible
This movie was bad... The main character would wander aimlessly for little to no reason what so ever. He is in love with his girlfriend, but long before he knows what happens to her, he messes around with someone else (but continues to risk his life looking for the old girl friend.) Pointless and horrible!
The acting is bad, the only names anyone ever heard of (Denise Crosby and Traci Lords) are barely in the movie, and the plot absurd.
I can not express enough that this movie should be avoided. I even enjoy some lousey movies if they can be humorous in their badness, but saddly this movie even avoids that.
