It's a 80's classic no doubt and the music ofcourse is a part of that age. But it's really bad music and it totally takes over sometimes. The first ten minutes almost made me change channel. Like a wet rug the synthezisers sweep in endless formations. But the movie is really good.

This is alongside Göta Kanal one of the best movies that this country produced. There has not been any similar films in the late eighties or in the nineties. This is sad since theese two movies are almost the only humouresque films of quality that has been produced since.

There are not many films from Sweden that you can watch as many times as I have watched Göta Kanal. It's certainly one of the best movies ever produced in this country. The actors delivers extremely well-timed lines and the witty script makes you crumble of laughter! 1 157 846 Swedes saw Göta Kanal in the movies.
