Salem's Lot (2004)
10/10
Much better than the first
1 March 2008
Love Salem's Lot. the first one scared the hell out of me when I was a kid and this one was Stephen Kings BEST! an updated version was needed years ago and finally the best. Rob Lowe was just as good as David Soul and the plot was great. A must see for Stephen King fans. When king signed on with with TNT (Time Warner) that was a great decision since ABC/Disney backed out of showing any of Kings movies. Cable is a better outlet for King. The ending of this movie was a little different than what I expected as a King fan but still it rocks. The music, titles, graphics, and audio were great for a 2004 movie. I would look forward to another installment like a Salem's Lot two that would be cool.

GREAT REMAKE DVD?
15 February 2003
This was a wonderful remake of the original series. Yes it was a little over 5 hours long but worth watching. I taped it when it was on-the-air and I wonder if this will make it to DVD? I have noticed that the original series is finally on DVD! Does anyone know if the remake the mini-series and 12 episodes will make it to DVD?

An amazing adventure into the future!
5 March 2002
I was very fortunate to have won tickets to see the screening of The Time Machine in Greenville, SC tonight. It followed the book by HG Wells and was one of this years best movie's to date. I already have the movie poster and WILL have the DVD when it is released. Once you see this movie you will want to re-watch the original Time Machine that was released in 1960. This is the kind of film that will keep you in your seat throughout the entire film & will be a movie that you will want to see again and again!

The Simpsons (1989– )
Flagship comedy series of the FOX Network?
21 September 2001
As "The Simpsons" enters into their 13th season on television in November 2001 it is still as funny at it was in 1989. I do belive that this animated show will break television records and be around for a few more years. I hope FOX won't make the same mistake twice by canceling The Simpsons like they did with Married with Children in 1997. Married with Children was the TRUE flagship sitcom of the FOX network when it started in 1987

Married... with Children (1987–1997)
Best sitcom ever!
21 September 2001
This show was the best sitcom ever! I do think the people at FOX made a huge mistake by canceling them in 1997. I understand that all good things must come to an end but compared to some of the things that are on network television today there will never be another show like Married with Children again. Thank god for FX on cable and satellite.

Another Stephen King Masterpiece
20 September 2001
This movie was around 5 hours long but well worth the time watching. This one will keep you in your chair and asking what will happen next. Along the lines of The Stand and his remake of the Shining in 1997 "The Storm of the Century was great.

Stephen King's Masterpiece
20 September 2001
The Stand is truly one of Stephen King's best! Yes it was several hours long but was well worth the time watching! I'm looking forward to seeing what Stephen King has next on TV. I am a big Stephen King fan and have read and seen all of his books and TV movies I think The Stand is as good if not BETTER than Storm of the Century.

Great Movie!
20 September 2001
After reading the book in high school and seeing the movie on ABC I would say it's the best made for TV series I have ever seen. The Hallmark Channel has bought the rights to "The Winds of War" and I am looking forward to viewing it again. I also look forward to "The Winds of War" & "War and Remembrance" coming out on DVD.

War and Remembrance (1988–1989)

The Winds of War & War and Rememberance was the best mini series EVER!
18 August 2000
After reading the book The Winds of War and watching the first mini series in 1983, I waited for War and Remembrance to premier in 1989. I own the tape sets and re-watch them every one in a while! Herman Wouk's novel was GREAT and Dan Curtis was outstanding in both mini series. The ABC television network should re-run both mini series for sweeps week. I bet it would be a hit 2nd time around in the 21st century!

That '70s Show (1998–2006)
The Fox Network has a ratings booster.
7 February 2000
This show is great! That 70's show is a comedy about life in the 70's and is one of the best sitcoms I have seen in years. It is a pleasure to sit down on Monday nights from 8-9 and watch this program. It is well worth an hour if you want to laugh. I hope this show will be around for years to come.
