Jersey Girl (2004)
More fluff then a bag of marshmallows.
If you like a shows full of name-brand stars, so overly sweet it gives you cavities, this is for you. If you want something create and at least somewhat original, stay away. This is one of those movies where the father has to choose between going back to his big paying job or keeping his family together. By the end of the movie, I hated the little girl who smile burned my soul. I was annoyed at all the popular actors in the film. I had a hard time learning their role's name since I was so caught up by knowing their real name. Heck, if Will Smith was introduced in this film anyway other than how he was, I would have thought he wasn't playing one of those 'himself' roles, but maybe be some namely business man or something.
When it comes down to it, if you want a family movie, you have a better bet watching something with a talking animal than to watch this fluff.
Brink! (1998)
Great for the whole family!!!
Brink can entertain both kids and teens with the awesome roller blading as well as entertain the parents with a wholesome movie that teaches a moral code about trust and friendship. Anyways, most likely teenage girls would also love Brink for who else, but the hottest teen actor, Erik von Detten. And if anyone cares, I'm his number one fan and been a fan since Escape to Witch Mountain (which is also a great family film)
Tammy and the T-Rex (1994)
How many ways can I say this movie sucks...
Movies likes these make me wonder if some writers are on drugs or just five years old when they write movies like this one. If you see it's on TV, I think for the girls: watch the first ten minutes to see Paul Walker, and for the guys: watch the last ten minutes for Denise Richards stripping. The s**t in between should be time to make love or do something else more entertaining (ex. watch the grass grow!!!)
